24h stopover in Kuala Lumpur (KL): While leaving Philippines on my way back to Maldives, I had a 24h stopover in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The package was offered by Malaysian Airlines: they provided me a 4 star Hotel plus 2 free meals at the restaurant. I had the chance to visit a museum where I saw some of the ancient Malay porcelains, armors and instruments (you can see me attempting to play one of those in the pictures below). I saw the KL twin towers, the second tallest tower in the world, the KL Chinatown and riding the KL special monorail metro train. The weather is very comfortable, I loved it, very humid and hot, the city is clean, ordinated and people well mannered and modern. I had a fairly good impression. Hopefully next year I will be traveling through the Malaysian jungle an some of its nice temples. One of the good part of this trip was that I had an encounter with the couchsurfer Erina who kindly accompanied me for several hours around the computer-city shopping mall in the desperate attempt to find a Sony T10 camera for less than 300$. We asked every single shop (there were hundreds) but at last we succeeded!

- The cool thing about KL is that the city and it’s parks are fully “decorated” with rich jungle-style vegetation!
