Yep, as I had to deliver a motorcycle to Curzio’s father, he hosted me for a few days at his holiday house in Golfo Marinella, nearby PortoRotondo, where he usually spend time with his family during summer. I had a great time with them, no to mention the adventure when I dared to test Francesco’s 30 years old windsurf equipment during strong wind and I ended up stuck at the other side of the bay, on the rocks. We had a special guest over for dinner once, a philosopher who turned out to be among the most interesting persons I’ve met so far. By the way, it’s good to know there are still wonderful places with colorful sea and some unspoiled nature around the Mediterranean: when u get to this island for example, you can really tell it has something very unique in its landscape, in its people. It packs some wild nature and as well many amenities. And this time, I didn’t have to travel 10.000 miles away…i found my piece of home and paradise just around the corner…
