Disabling Facebook wall
A week ago, I’ve finally disabled Facebook wall; this way I wont be spammed any longer by people who are only capable of writing me through the social-network, instead of sending me a real and direct EMAIL. For my birthday for example, I’ve received tons of greetings on my facebook wall and just a couple of emails at my hotmail inbox…
I joined facebook more than a year ago, with the sole purpose of re-building contacts with lost friends and old school mates. I’ve never imagined that it was going to turn everything into a huge spam network of bullshit, with users checking out every picture and every comment that other people are posting, and gossiping over a comment so that someone else can come and gossip again over the last comment and so on, again and again, bullshit never ends…
Moreover, I’m annoyed by all those who request my friendship without even knowing me, not only, but also by not leaving any explanation or note. Is this a new-age shit to show how cool you are if you can have 800 friends in your list or if they come from 50 different countries?

Dear Alan,
Yes I totally agree with you about Facebook. It gave me the same impression, too many people but not friends.
Very superficial but it allows them spy on you and gossip about you and I just don’t feel safe.
I prefer to have a few close friends that I chat to frequently.
Hope you are well and big hugs
Denise
